Unheardof × Rivalry Low 'Grandma's Ugly Couch'

The adidas Rivalry Low ‘Grandma’s Ugly Couch’ is taken from a collaborative pack with Cincinnati-based retailer Unheardof, whose founder, Phil Lipschutz, tapped his childhood memories for the shoe’s design inspiration. The classic silhouette features an off-white corduroy upper covered in a floral print resembling the embroidered geraniums, tulips, and roses found on Phil’s grandmother’s couch. The adidas logo on the tongue tag is inscribed in Grandma’s handwriting, as is her frequent signature on cards and letters.

“Always be a good boy” is printed in gold foil lettering on a lavender heel overlay. The low-top is mounted on a gum rubber sole, with a mid-side foam wedge in a bright red hue.
